Behind the Pen

Sydney Foxx started writing the stories she wanted to read but couldn’t find on the shelf. For years, she wrote them mostly for herself, until she finally let a few friends read them. They had other plans.
A serial creator at heart, Sydney has built businesses, worked in beauty and fitness, painted, refinished furniture, and tried her hand at just about anything that lets her make something from nothing. Through it all, one thing has stayed constant: she loves helping women feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.
Southern-raised and sweet as pie, Sydney has the accent and manners to prove it. What she puts on the page, however, might make a few Southern ladies clutch their pearls. Bless their hearts.
Her books tend to give her away. Somewhere in the pages, you’ll usually find her sarcasm, inappropriate sense of humor, curiosity about anything a little unusual, and enough redheads to make you wonder if she has a type. She does.
Sydney is the ridiculously proud mom of two sons and has been happily married for more than twenty years. She loves making new friends, getting lost in a great book, discovering the weird and wonderful corners of the world, and hunting through thrift stores for something she can reinvent. She still makes time for painting and fitness, and she’s one hell of a cook.
Settle down, boys. She’s taken.
She loves plants, too. Unfortunately, no one has ever accused her of having a green thumb.
